Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday, the kids woke up to a living room filled with eggs and presents. The Easter Bunny had been busy filling up baskets with presents and dropping some eggs filled with candy all around our house. The kids were happy and enjoyed the presents! Here are the pictures from our morning.
One of the things that the Easter Bunny brought, was little eggs that we were supposed to put in water. After a day or two, there would be chickens hatching from the eggs.
Very exciting, and the kids couldn't wait to come home from school the next day to see if there would be a crack in the eggs, which it was a slight one. They didn't hatch until day two and I had to help to loosen the shell a bit. They didn't grow to the size on the package, but still, it was fun for them to see what happened.
In the evening, the kids realized that the Easter Bunny had left an Golden Egg (very special ones) by the DVD player and we found that it was a note and a movie close by! The kids had been wishing for this movie for awhile, so it was a great hit! Well done Bunny, well done! Ben just looks a bit upset at the picture, as Bella was the one finding the egg....always this competition with who gets what, who finds what, who's turn etc..

Bella's Egg was the first one to hatch on day two in the water!

Happy Easter Bunnies
Again, playing catch up here on the blog, but as we now are on Spring break and have a lot going on, there will be a lot of pictures coming from that afterward, so here is a little catch up from our Easter!
On Thursday night, they have Family Night at the Tengan restaurant here on our base, and I try to take the kids if there is a special holiday. I took them the Family night for Christmas and on the one for Valentine's Day, and now this one for Easter. They got to meet the Easter bunny and do a little crafts and there was also an Egg hunt, where they could get eggs with prizes inside them. Our eggs had candy but no other prizes, which was just as good.
Cassandra did stay at home for this night, lots of homework made it impossible for her to take a night off, so she didn't come along, and as Chris always work late, it was me and the kids.
Ready to go egg hunting!
Ready- set - GO!!
The egg hunt was like most egg hunts, over in 5 minutes.
The best part of the night was that the Easter Bunny joined the kids on the dance floor before taking off. They danced and had a great time with him, before the Bunny had to hop on as he is very busy the days before Easter!
